Introduction
MS5173M is a single-channel, 16-bit, charge redistribution successive approximation ADC with single-supply operation.
MS5173M integrates a low-power, high-speed, no-missing-code true 16-bit SAR ADC and an internal conversion clock.
MS5173M uses a standard serial interface for conversion result readback, and includes a track-and-hold circuit with low noise, wide bandwidth, and short aperture delay. The SPI interface also supports daisy-chaining multiple ADCs on a single 3-wire bus.
MS5173M is available in a compact MSOP8 package with an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.
MS5173M is a high-speed, low-power, 16-bit SAR ADC capable of 200k samples per second with automatic power-down between conversions. MS5173M is rated for supply voltages from 2.7V to 5.5V.
MS5173M uses a 3-wire interface with CNV, SCK, and SDO signals, compatible with SPI, MICROWIRE, QSPI, digital hosts, and DSPs.
A rising edge on CNV initiates a conversion. CNV is inactive during conversion and must be asserted high before the minimum conversion time elapses. When conversion is complete, MS5173M enters the sampling phase, SDO transitions from high-impedance to the MSB, and the remaining data bits are clocked out on each falling edge of SCK. Data is valid on both edges of SCK. SDO returns to high-impedance after the 16th falling edge of SCK or when CNV is asserted high.
