Introduction
The CD4060B is a 14-stage binary counter that integrates an oscillator driver and a 14-bit binary counter. The oscillator driver can be configured via external circuitry as either an RC oscillator or a crystal oscillator driver. The device provides a RESET pin for resetting the counter value and controlling the oscillator on/off state. When RESET is driven high, the counter is reset (to 0000H) and the oscillator is disabled. All flip-flops in the counter are asynchronous edge-triggered. The counter state changes on the falling edge of φi (φo).
