ATA6563-GAQW1-HX/ATA6563-GBQW1-HX is a high-speed CAN transceiver designed to provide an interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. The transceiver is designed for high-speed applications, supporting data rates up to 5 Mbps in automotive environments. It provides differential transmit and receive capability, tailored for microcontrollers equipped with a CAN protocol controller. Key features include enhanced EMC and superior ESD performance, along with several important attributes: ideal passive behavior on the CAN bus when the supply voltage is off; direct interfacing with microcontrollers operating at supply voltages ranging from 3V to 5V. With three operating modes and dedicated fail-safe features, this transceiver is an excellent choice for a wide variety of high-speed CAN networks, particularly for low-power mode nodes requiring wake-up capability via the CAN bus.
