HGSEMI ADM3485EARZ/HG

The ADM3485E is a 3.3V, half-duplex, low-power transceiver for RS-485/RS-422 communications, fully compliant with TIA/EIA-485 standard requirements. The device integrates one driver and one receiver, both independently enable/disable controlled, presenting high-impedance state when disabled. The receiver features 1/8 unit load (96kΩ) input impedance, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the same bus, supporting error-free data transmission at up to 12Mbps. Operating voltage range is 3.0V to 3.6V, with integrated failsafe, overtemperature protection, current limiting, and overvoltage protection to ensure reliable communication in electrically noisy environments. Driver outputs are protected via overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown circuitry (triggered when die temperature exceeds 140℃).
