Opis
The LM1117-Q1 is an AEC-Q100 qualified linear regulator for automotive applications. Compared to conventional x1117 regulators, this device offers improved performance with higher output accuracy and lower quiescent current (IQ), minimizing standby power consumption. The LM1117-Q1 supports an input voltage range of 2.5V to 18V (20V absolute maximum). The device provides fixed output voltages of 1.2V, 3.3V, 5V, and 12V. The LM1117-Q1 features wideband PSRR performance, typically greater than 60dB at 1kHz and greater than 40dB at 1MHz, enabling attenuation of switching frequencies from upstream DC/DC converters. Additionally, the LM1117-Q1 incorporates an internal soft-start function to reduce inrush current during startup, helping to save design space and cost by reducing input capacitance requirements. The LM1117-Q1 features foldback current limiting to reduce device power dissipation during high load current faults or short-circuit events.
