It achieves very low propagation delay while maintaining the low power consumption characteristic of CMOS. Analog and digital voltages can vary across the full supply voltage range (from VCC to GND). The select pin features overvoltage protection, allowing voltages up to 5.5V above VCC on the pin without damaging the device or interrupting its operation, regardless of the operating voltage.
