Introduction
The SN74LVC2G17 dual Schmitt-trigger buffer operates over a voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V. The device contains two buffers that perform the Boolean function Y = A. Due to the Schmitt-trigger inputs, the device may have different input threshold levels for rising-edge (VT+) and falling-edge (VT−) signals, providing hysteresis (ΔVT), which enables the device to tolerate slow or noisy input signals. The device is fully compatible with partial power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuit disables the outputs, preventing damaging current backflow when the device is powered down.
