Introduction
This 4-bit non-inverting translator is a bidirectional voltage-level translator designed to establish digital switching compatibility between multi-voltage systems. It uses two independently configurable supply rails: Port A supports an operating voltage of 1.65V to 3.6V with VccA supply, and Port B supports an operating voltage of 2.3V to 5.5V with VccB supply. These features enable support for both lower and higher logic signal levels, while providing bidirectional translation capability between 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V voltage circuit nodes. When the output enable input is driven low, all I/O ports are forced into a high-impedance state, significantly reducing quiescent current consumption. To ensure the high-impedance state is maintained during power-up or power-down, the output enable pin should be pulled to ground through a pull-down resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current drive capability of the driver.
