Introduction
This device is a dual-bit non-inverting translator that functions as a bidirectional voltage-level translator, enabling digital switching compatibility between multi-voltage systems. The IC features two independently configurable supply rails: Port A operates at 1.65 V to 3.6 V with the VCCA supply, and Port B operates at 2.3 V to 5.5 V with the VCCB supply. These features support both lower and higher logic signal levels while providing bidirectional translation capability between any 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V circuit nodes. When the output enable (OE) input is driven low, all I/Os are forced into a high-impedance state, significantly reducing quiescent current consumption. To maintain the high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, the OE pin should be connected to GND through a pull-down resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current drive capability of the driver.
