Introduction
This dual-bit non-inverting translator is a bidirectional voltage-level translator designed to establish digital switching compatibility between multi-voltage systems. The IC features two independently configurable supply rails: Port A supports an operating voltage of 1.65 V to 3.6 V with the VCCA supply rail, and Port B supports an operating voltage of 2.3 V to 5.5 V with the VCCB supply rail. These features accommodate lower and higher logic signal levels while providing bidirectional translation capability between 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V voltage circuit nodes. When the output enable input is driven low, all I/O ports are forced into a high-impedance state, significantly reducing quiescent current consumption. To ensure the high-impedance state is maintained during power-up or power-down, the output enable pin should be connected to ground through a pull-down resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current sourcing capability of the driver.
