Introduction
ESP32-WROVER-B and ESP32-WROVER-IB are two general-purpose Wi-Fi + Bluetooth + Bluetooth LE MCU modules with versatile functionality, suitable for low-power sensor networks and demanding applications such as voice encoding, audio streaming, and MP3 decoding. The ESP32-WROVER-B features an on-board PCB antenna, while the ESP32-WROVER-IB integrates an external antenna connector for use with an external antenna. Both modules are built around the ESP32-D0WD chip, which is scalable and adaptive. The two CPU cores can be controlled independently, with clock frequency adjustable from 80 MHz to 240 MHz. Users can power down the CPUs and use the low-power co-processor to monitor peripheral status changes or whether certain analog values exceed a threshold. The chip also integrates a rich set of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, SD card interface, Ethernet interface, high-speed SPI, UART, I2S, and I2C.
