ESPRESSIF ESP-WROOM-02D-N4

Espressif provides customers with SMD modules ESP-WROOM-02D and ESP-WROOM-02U integrating ESP8266EX. Building on ESP-WROOM-02, Espressif has optimized the RF performance of both modules. ESP-WROOM-02U integrates a U.FL connector and requires an IPEX antenna. ESP8266EX features a built-in ultra-low-power Tensilica L106 32-bit RISC processor with a CPU clock speed of up to 160MHz, supporting RTOS and Wi-Fi protocol stack, leaving up to 80% of processing capacity available for application programming and development. The ESP8266EX chip integrates an on-chip memory controller and memory units, including ROM and SRAM, and supports external Flash via SPI interface, with a theoretical maximum of 16MB SPI Flash. ESP-WROOM-02D and ESP-WROOM-02U use a 26MHz crystal oscillator; the selected crystal must have an accuracy within ±10PPM, and the ground-referenced tuning capacitors C1 and C2 on the crystal oscillator input/output should be in the range of 6pF～22pF.
