HGSEMI MIC29302AWU/HG

The MIC29302AW is a high-current, low-cost, low-dropout voltage regulator fabricated using a Super Beta PNP process with a PNP pass element. This 3A LDO regulator features a 450mV (full load) dropout voltage and extremely low ground current. The device is designed for high-current loads, while also being suitable for low-current, low-dropout critical systems where dropout voltage and ground current values are of significant importance. In addition to ±2% total accuracy over temperature, line, and load regulation, the regulator offers extremely fast transient recovery from input voltage surges and output load current variations. The MIC29302AW features an adjustable output, with the voltage settable between 1.24V and 15V via two external resistors. Furthermore, the device provides comprehensive protection against overcurrent faults, reverse input polarity, reverse lead insertion, and over-temperature operation. The MIC29302AW includes a TTL logic-level enable pin for shutting down the regulator. If this feature is not used, the device can be kept in continuous operation by connecting the EN pin to the input pin. The MIC29302AW is available in standard 5-pin TO-263 and TO-252 packages, with an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
