Introduction
MAX4246 is a micropower, low-cost amplifier operating from 2.5V to 5.5V supplies. Despite its low quiescent current, the MAX4246 delivers excellent overall performance and versatility. The device features a rail-to-rail output voltage range that extends to within 10mV of each supply rail, providing maximum output dynamic range and excellent overload recovery. The MAX4246 is unity-gain stable with a gain-bandwidth product of 1.5MHz (typical). It offers high CMRR and PSRR performance and can operate from dual supplies as low as 2.5V. These characteristics make the MAX4246 ideal for dual-supply, battery-powered applications. The MAX4246 can serve as a drop-in replacement for many commercially available op amps to reduce power consumption and improve output range and performance.
