This intelligent externally-controlled LED light source integrates the control circuit and light-emitting circuit into a single component, with each element forming one pixel. Each pixel incorporates an intelligent digital interface data latch signal reshaping amplifier driver circuit, a high-precision internal oscillator, and a programmable constant-current control section, effectively ensuring high consistency in light color and output. The data protocol uses single-wire return-to-zero (RZ) communication. After power-on reset, each pixel receives data from the controller via the DIN pin. The first 24 bits received are extracted by the first pixel and stored in its internal data latch; the remaining data is reshaped and amplified by the internal reshaping circuit, then forwarded through the DO port to the next cascaded pixel — each pixel transmission reduces the data by 24 bits. Pixels employ automatic reshaping and forwarding technology, so the cascade count is not limited by signal transmission constraints, only by signal transmission speed requirements. The port scan frequency of up to 2KHz ensures no flickering even when captured by high-definition cameras, making it ideal for high-speed motion product applications. A reset time of over 280μs prevents false resets even in the event of an interrupt, enabling support for lower-frequency, more cost-effective microcontrollers. The LED offers the advantages of low-voltage drive, environmental friendliness and energy efficiency, high brightness, wide scattering angle, excellent consistency, low power consumption, and ultra-long lifespan. Integrating the control circuit inside the LED simplifies the overall circuit, reduces the form factor, and makes installation more convenient.
