Introduction
The OPAx22x series op-amps combine low noise, wide bandwidth, and high precision, making them ideal for applications requiring both AC and precision DC performance. The OPAx227 is unity-gain stable with a high slew rate (2.3V/μs) and wide bandwidth (8MHz). The OPAx228 is optimized for closed-loop gains of 5 or greater, offering higher speed with a 10V/μs slew rate and 33MHz bandwidth. The OPAx227 and OPAx228 series op-amps are well suited for professional audio equipment. In addition, low quiescent current and low cost make them ideal for portable applications with stringent high-precision requirements. The OPAx227 and OPAx228 series op-amps are pin-for-pin replacements for the industry-standard OP-27 and OP-37, with significant improvements across the board. Dual and quad versions are also available to save board space and reduce per-channel cost. The OPAx227 and OPAx228 are available in DIP-8 and SO-8 packages. The OPA4227 and OPA4228 are offered in DIP-14 and SO-14 packages with standard pinouts. The rated operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
