Introduction
The HEF4013 is a dual D-type flip-flop with independent direct set inputs, direct clear inputs, clock inputs, and outputs. Data is accepted when the clock input is LOW and transferred to the outputs on the rising edge of the clock. The active-HIGH asynchronous clear and set inputs are independent of each other and override both the D and clock inputs. Outputs are buffered to optimize system performance. The Schmitt-trigger action on the clock input makes the circuit highly tolerant of slower clock rise and fall times. The operating supply voltage range is 3V to 15V. Unused inputs must be connected to VDD, VSS, or another input.
