The SI8622EB-B-IS digital isolator delivers outstanding performance and reliability, surpassing optocouplers and other digital isolator technologies across all key metrics. Intelligent capacitive division technology represents a new generation of digital isolator design, leveraging capacitive voltage division principles to achieve precise voltage signal transmission across the isolation barrier without the need for modulation or demodulation. The SI8622EB-B-IS features independent transmission channels that support multiple configurable transfer directions, with isolation voltage ratings from 1.5kV rms to 5.0kV rms and signal transmission from DC to 600Mbps. The device supports a 3.0V operating voltage and 3.0V to 5.5V logic level translation. When the input supply is unpowered or no input signal is present while the output supply remains active, the isolator output defaults to a defined logic level.
