Introduction
THVD1500DR-HX is a high-speed RS-485/RS-422 transceiver circuit supporting +5V supply with half-duplex operation. It integrates one driver and one receiver, capable of achieving data rates up to 10Mbps. The circuit features ±15KV ESD protection to effectively prevent electrostatic discharge damage to the chip. Both the driver and receiver have enable pins; when the enable pin is deasserted, the driver and receiver outputs enter a high-impedance state. In addition, the device incorporates a failsafe circuit to ensure correct output even when the receiver input is open or short-circuited. The receiver input impedance is 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the same bus. Available in SOP-8 package.
