Introduction
LM224 is an industry-standard operational amplifier containing four independent op-amps, each featuring low input offset voltage, a common-mode input range that includes ground potential, high differential input voltage capability, and built-in phase compensation. These op-amps support a wide supply voltage range and can operate from either single or dual supplies, with quiescent current independent of supply voltage. As a result, the LM224 is well-suited for tone equalization network circuits in radios, recorders, and audio systems, as well as other applications requiring high-gain signal amplification. The device consists of four high-gain, low-power op-amps; the supply voltage must be at least 1.5V above the common-mode input voltage. Its low supply current is independent of supply voltage, and it operates over a wide temperature range of -40 ~ 85℃. The LM224 can be powered directly from the standard 5V supply used in digital systems, eliminating the need for a separate ±5V supply.
