Introduction
FT8213Q is a three-phase, sensorless FOC brushless DC motor driver IC with built-in Rdson 1Ω drive MOSFETs. The chip integrates all components required for motor control with minimal external components, low noise, and low motor torque ripple. Built-in EFUSE supports configurable motor parameters, startup, and speed control modes. The speed control interface supports PWM, analog input, and I²C for motor speed regulation, with integrated speed indication — motor speed can be read in real time via the FG pin or I²C interface. Speed control modes include constant speed, constant airflow, constant current, and open-loop control, with motor speed indication functionality. Integrated protection features include phase loss, overvoltage, overcurrent, undervoltage, current limiting, overtemperature, and locked-rotor protection. Sleep current: 45μA.
