Introduction
The ADA4817-1 (single-channel) and ADA4817-2 (dual-channel) FastFET amplifiers are unity-gain stable, ultra-high-speed voltage feedback amplifiers with FET inputs. Developed using a proprietary eXtra Fast Complementary Bipolar (XFCB) process, these amplifiers achieve ultralow noise (<4 nV/√Hz; 2.5 fA/√Hz) and extremely high input impedance. With 1.3 pF input capacitance, 4 nV/√Hz low noise, 2 mV maximum low offset voltage, and 1050 MHz −3 dB bandwidth, they are ideal for data acquisition front ends and wideband transimpedance applications such as photodiode preamplifiers. The wide supply voltage range of 5 V to 10 V supports single-supply or dual-supply operation, making these amplifiers suitable for a variety of applications including active filtering and ADC driving. The low-distortion pinout improves second harmonic distortion and simplifies PCB layout. In addition, the exposed pad on each package provides a low thermal resistance path to the PCB for more efficient heat transfer and improved reliability. Both devices operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +105°C.
