SGMICRO SGM40560-4.4XTDI6G/TR

The SGM40560 is a high-accuracy linear constant-current/constant-voltage charging monolithic circuit designed for small-capacity lithium-ion/lithium-polymer rechargeable batteries. It autonomously handles the complete charging sequence: pre-charge, fast charge, trickle float charge, voltage foldback hold, resistive voltage drop compensation, and recharge. Five fixed maximum charge voltage options are available: SGM40560-3.65 for 3.65V/3.709V/4.547V; SGM40560-4.05 for 4.05V/4.108V/5.045V; SGM40560-4.2 for 4.2V/4.257V/5.235V; SGM40560-4.3 for 4.3V/4.356V/5.363V; SGM40560-4.4 for 4.4V/4.466V/5.484V. Charge current is set via an external resistor. A slowly blinking LED indicates charging in progress; a continuously lit LED indicates charge complete. Charging is supported even under low-energy conditions. Based on its characteristics and control architecture, the device operates from a constant-voltage supply, supports charging from loosely coupled coils with large voltage fluctuations, and is compatible with solar cells with reverse current. It thus provides flexible power options for wearables and small portable devices. The voltage foldback hold and thermal current limiting features ensure long-term safe and stable load powering from the external supply. The SGM40560 is offered in Green TDFN-2×2-6AL and SOIC-8 (Exposed Pad) packages, with an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +125℃.
