Introduction
AD8302 is a filterless, ultra-low EMI, Class D mono audio power amplifier. At 1KHz input and 5V supply voltage, the maximum output power is: 5W (2Ω load, THD+N ≤ 10%), 3W (4Ω load, THD+N ≤ 10%); THD+N is less than 1% across the audio range (20Hz - 20KHz). The application circuit is simple, requiring minimal external components to deliver high-quality output power. No external coupling capacitors, bootstrap capacitors, snubber networks, or feedback resistors are needed at the output. Available in SOP-8/MSOP-8 packages, particularly suited for low-volume, compact portable systems. Shutdown mode can be activated via control pin to reduce power consumption, with built-in over-temperature auto-shutdown protection. Stable operation with unity-gain stability. Amplifier voltage gain is adjustable through external resistor configuration for ease of application.
