Introduction
AD8107 is a Class AB, mono with shutdown, bridge audio power amplifier. At 1KHz input frequency and 5V supply voltage, the maximum output power is: 3W (3Ω load, THD<10%), 2W (3Ω load, THD<1%); total harmonic distortion plus noise is less than 1% across the audio range (20Hz - 20KHz). The application circuit is simple, requiring minimal external components to deliver high-quality output power. No external coupling capacitors, bootstrap capacitors, snubber networks, or feedback resistors are required at the output. Packaged in DFN8L 2*2, it is especially suited for low-power, compact portable wearable systems. Shutdown mode can be activated via a control pin to reduce power consumption; an internal thermal auto-shutdown protection mechanism is built in. Operation is stable with unity-gain stability. Voltage gain can be adjusted by configuring external resistors for flexible application.
