The devices in this series consist of one independent single or dual supply voltage comparator on a single monolithic substrate. The common mode input voltage range includes ground even when operated from a single supply, and the low power supply current drain makes these comparators suitable for battery operation. These types were designed to directly interface with TTL and CMOS, Current drain is independent of the supply voltage. The outputs can be connected to other opencollector outputs to achieve wired-AND relationships. The LM331A, LM331B, LM331AU, LM331AU2 is one channel version available in 5-pin SO package. All devices are specified for the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
