TLV1117-50IDCYR is a series of low-dropout linear regulators with a 1.5V dropout voltage at 1A output current. The TLV1117-50IDCYR series provides current limiting and thermal shutdown protection. The circuit incorporates an on-chip bandgap reference to ensure output voltage accuracy within 1% for the 3.3V, 5.0V, and adjustable versions, and within 2% for the 1.2V version. Current limiting ensures the specified output current and controlled short-circuit current. On-chip thermal shutdown prevents excessive junction temperature caused by any combination of overload and ambient temperature. The TLV1117-50IDCYR offers an adjustable version that provides output voltages from 1.25V to 12V using only 2 external resistors. The TLV1117-50IDCYR series is available in the industry-standard SOT-223 three-terminal power package.
