Introduction
The MCP6V77T-E/MS series amplifiers employ a patented fast step-response chopper stabilization technique to provide input offset voltage correction, achieving ultra-low offset and drift. This approach continuously measures and compensates for input offset, eliminating drift due to time and temperature variations as well as 1/f noise effects. This design breakthrough delivers a 1.5 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a high slew rate of 1.2 V/μs while consuming only 125 μA of supply current. These devices feature unity-gain stability along with excellent power supply rejection ratio and common-mode rejection ratio. The series is ideal for applications requiring precision amplification of low-level signals where error sources cannot be tolerated, yet high bandwidth and fast transient response are needed. Rail-to-rail input and output swing makes both high-side and low-side sensing straightforward. The series operates from a single supply as low as 1.8 V, making it suitable for two-cell battery applications. These op amps feature enhanced EMI protection to minimize interference from external sources, along with high ESD protection capability. All models are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
