Introduction
The MCP6V76T-E/OT series amplifiers use a patented fast-step-response chopper-stabilization technique to provide input offset voltage correction, achieving ultralow offset and drift. This approach continuously measures and compensates for input offset, eliminating drift over time and temperature as well as 1/f noise. This design breakthrough achieves a 1.5 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a high slew rate of 1.2 V/μs, while consuming only 125 μA of supply current. These devices are unity-gain stable and feature excellent power supply rejection ratio and common-mode rejection ratio. The series is ideal for applications requiring precise amplification of low-level signals that cannot tolerate error sources, yet demand high bandwidth and fast transient response. Rail-to-rail input and output swing makes both high-side and low-side sensing straightforward. The series operates from a single supply voltage as low as 1.8 V, suitable for two-cell battery applications. The op amps feature enhanced EMI protection to minimize interference from external sources, along with high ESD protection. All versions are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
