Introduction
The MAX809/MAX810 series are microcontroller reset circuits designed to monitor supply voltage and assert a reset signal. These devices provide both power-on and power-down detection. During power-up, the reset output remains asserted when the supply voltage falls below the circuit's threshold voltage; once the supply voltage rises above the threshold, an internal timer is activated and releases the reset output after a 240ms (typical) timeout period. The MAX809 provides an active-low reset signal (RESETN) with push-pull output. The MAX810 provides an active-high reset signal (RESET) with push-pull output.
