SN65HVD3082EDR-JSM is a low-power, half-duplex transceiver compliant with RS-485 and RS-422 specifications. The IC integrates one driver and one receiver. The driver's slew rate is unconstrained, enabling data transmission at up to 12Mbps. When the driver is disabled under no-load or full-load conditions, the supply current consumption of these transceivers ranges from 120μA to 500μA. All devices operate from a single 3.3V supply. The driver features short-circuit current limiting and is protected against excessive power dissipation by a thermal shutdown circuit that places the driver outputs in a high-impedance state. The receiver inputs incorporate a fail-safe feature that guarantees a logic-high output when the inputs are open. The device withstands ESD up to 8kV (Human Body Model) and ±15kV per IEC61000-4-2 air discharge method. Package: SOP-8.
