Introduction
PSoC 4 is a scalable and reconfigurable platform architecture — a programmable embedded system controller featuring an ARM Cortex™-M0 CPU. Through flexible autorouting resources, it integrates programmable and reconfigurable analog blocks with digital blocks. The PSoC 4000 family is the smallest member of the PSoC 4 platform architecture. This family combines three elements: a microcontroller with standard communication and timing peripherals, a best-in-class capacitive touch sensing system (CapSense), and general-purpose analog. For new applications and design requirements, the PSoC 4000 products are upward compatible with the PSoC 4 platform family.
