This device is a 1.9V to 28V ideal diode with an integrated P-channel MOSFET. When enabled, its 15mV forward voltage regulation minimizes power dissipation while improving operating margin and efficiency compared to Schottky diodes. It enables easy power "OR-ing" to enhance system reliability and prevent reverse conduction. When disabled, the device blocks up to 28V at the output while exhibiting a leakage current of less than 1μA (typical) — an improvement of several orders of magnitude over typical Schottky diodes — thereby extending battery life. Fast output-to-input reverse bias detection minimizes reverse current, preventing unwanted charging of the input battery. When the device is in shutdown or reverse-biased state, its open-drain status output pin is pulled low.
