HopeRF Micro-electronics CMT83086

CMT83086 is a high-reliability, full-duplex RS-485 transceiver based on digital isolation technology. The device has passed UL1577 safety certification, supports insulation withstand voltage up to 5kVrms, and features low emission, low power consumption, and strong EMI immunity. The bus-side pins provide ±12kV system-level ESD protection. The device incorporates a failsafe protection function that ensures a logic high output at the receiver when the receiver input is open or short-circuited. Its receiver input impedance is 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the bus. The CMT83086 has a data transfer rate of 12Mbps, helping to reduce EMI on the transmission line. The device is available in a wide-body SOIC-16 package.
