Introduction
The LM393 contains two independent voltage comparators designed to operate from a single supply over a wide voltage range, or from dual supplies. Its current consumption is independent of supply voltage. The outputs can be connected to other open-collector outputs to achieve wired-AND logic. The device can use the standard 5V supply in digital systems without requiring additional power supplies.
