Introduction
HCT676x is a 12/6-channel, 24-bit high-precision ADC with an SPI interface. It integrates a low-noise instrumentation amplifier with 1× to 128× programmable gain and a high-precision Sigma-Delta ADC, along with two precision current sources, a high-performance temperature sensor, a 5ppm/°C high-precision voltage reference, a bias voltage output circuit, and a precision internal RC clock source. The ADC achieves an effective resolution of 24 bits at 1× PGA gain and 21.5 bits at 64× PGA gain, with an equivalent input noise as low as 11nV/√Hz, an offset voltage of 1μV, and an offset voltage temperature coefficient below 10nV/°C. The output data rate is configurable from 3.125Hz to 6400Hz, and from 6.25Hz to 12800Hz in high-power, frequency-doubling mode. It is suitable for high-performance temperature sensing, analytical balances, industrial process control, DC/AC energy metering, instrumentation, and other applications requiring high-precision, low-offset measurements.
