Introduction
CM2322 is an 18-bit, successive approximation ADC operating from a single supply. It integrates a low-power, high-speed, 18-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface. On the rising edge of CNV, the device samples the differential voltage between the IN+ and IN− pins; signals at these two input pins are typically in antiphase, with voltage swings ranging from 0V to VREF. The reference voltage VREF is supplied externally and can be set independently of the supply voltage VDD; power consumption scales proportionally with the sampling rate. Using the SDI input of the SPI interface, multiple ADCs can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration, with an optional busy indicator provided. Through a separate VIO supply, the device is compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, 3V, and 5V logic levels. The CM2322 is available in MSOP10 and DFN10 packages, with an operating temperature range of −40°C to 125°C.
