SKYWORKS CLA4603-000

The Skyworks CLA series silicon limiting diodes provide passive receiver protection over a wide frequency range from 100 MHz to beyond 30 GHz. These devices utilize proven Skyworks silicon technology to produce high-resistivity PIN limiting diodes with tightly controlled base widths. Limiting circuits using these devices deliver strong limiting action with low insertion loss.

The CLA series consists of eleven individual die designs with different intrinsic region base widths and capacitances, intended for use in multi-stage limiter applications. The CLA4601-000, CLA4602-000, CLA4604-000, CLA4605-000, and CLA4611-000 — featuring mesa construction, thin base widths, and low capacitance — are suited for low-level and clean-up applications. The CLA4603-000, CLA4606-000 through CLA4608-000, and CLA4610-000 are planar designs intended for high-power and medium-power applications.

The CLA4609-000 thick base width mesa diode is suited for coarse limiting stage applications.
