Introduction
This device is a quad bilateral switch designed for transmitting or multiplexing analog or digital signals. Additionally, its on-resistance remains relatively constant across the full input signal range. It consists of four independent bilateral switches, each requiring a separate control signal. The P-type and N-type devices within a given switch are simultaneously biased to the on or off state by the control signal. The well of the N-channel device in each switch is connected to the input when the switch is on, and to VSS when the switch is off. This configuration eliminates the variation in switch transistor threshold voltage with the input signal, thereby maintaining low on-resistance across the entire operating signal range.
