ICL7660SCBAZ is a monolithic DC/DC voltage converter IC fabricated using CMOS technology. It supports voltage inversion, voltage doubling, voltage splitting, and multiple voltage outputs. The device operates stably over a supply range of 1.5 V ~ 5 V with no external diodes required across the full temperature range. It delivers 10 mA of output current at 0.5 V dropout. The BOOST input can raise the oscillator frequency above the audio band, reducing output ripple and relaxing external capacitance requirements. The ICL7660SCBAZ combines low quiescent current with high conversion efficiency, integrating on-chip oscillator control circuitry and four power MOSFET switching transistors. Typical applications include negative voltage generation, voltage doubling, and input voltage halving.
