ISL3155 is a half-duplex high-speed transceiver for RS-485/RS-422 communication, integrating one driver and one receiver. It features fail-safe protection, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and over-temperature protection, with hot-swap capable inputs on the /RE and DE pins. The low slew rate driver reduces EMI and reflections caused by improper cable termination, enabling error-free data transmission at up to 500kbps.
