Introduction
MAX485CSA+T is a RS-485 transceiver operating from a 4.5V to 5.5V wide supply voltage, featuring bus port ESD protection up to 15kV HBM, a bus fault voltage range of ±15V, half-duplex, low-power operation, and fully compliant with TIA/EIA-485 standard requirements. The MAX485CSA+T integrates one driver and one receiver, each independently enable/disable controlled. When both are disabled, both the driver and receiver outputs enter a high-impedance state. The MAX485CSA+T features 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 MAX485CSA+T transceivers to be connected in parallel on the same communication bus, enabling error-free data transmission at up to 2.5Mbps.
