Introduction
PT4115B89E is a continuous inductor current conduction mode buck LED constant-current driver designed to drive one or multiple LED strings. Operating voltage ranges from 5.5V to 30V, providing adjustable output current with a maximum output current of up to 1.2A. Depending on the input voltage and external components, it can drive LEDs with a total power of up to tens of watts. The device integrates a power switch, employs a high-side current sensing circuit, and features a DIM pin compatible with both PWM and analog dimming. When the DIM pin voltage falls below 0.3V, the output is shut down and the device enters standby mode. A built-in over-temperature protection circuit is included; when the chip reaches the over-temperature protection threshold, it enters over-temperature protection mode and the output current gradually decreases to improve system reliability. A patented circuit architecture ensures no output current overshoot during low dropout operation, extending LED operating life. A patented constant-current circuit delivers excellent load regulation and line regulation. Available in SOT89-5 and ESOP8 packages.
