SN65HVD3082EDR is an RS-485 transceiver operating from a 4.5V~5.5V wide supply voltage, with bus port ESD protection up to 15kV HBM, bus voltage tolerance of ±15V, half-duplex, low power consumption, and fully compliant with TIA/EIA-485 standard requirements. It integrates one driver and one receiver, both independently enable/disable controllable. When both are disabled, the driver and receiver outputs enter a high-impedance state. With 1/8 unit load, up to 256 SN65HVD3082EDR transceivers can be connected in parallel on the same communication bus. Error-free data transmission at up to 2.5Mbps is supported. Operating voltage range is 3.0~5.5V, with fail-safe, current limiting protection, and overvoltage protection features.
