The ADP1754/ADP1755 are low dropout (LDO) CMOS linear regulators that operate from a 1.6 V to 3.6 V supply and deliver output currents up to 1.2 A. These low VIN/VOUT LDOs are ideal regulators for nanometer-geometry FPGAs powered from 2.5 V down to 1.8 V I/O rails while providing core voltages as low as 0.75 V. The ADP1754/ADP1755 employ an advanced proprietary architecture to deliver high PSRR and low noise, while achieving excellent line and load transient response performance using only a single small 4.7 μF ceramic output capacitor. The ADP1754 offers seven fixed output voltage options. The ADP1755 offers an adjustable version that can be set between 0.75 V and 3.3 V using an external resistor divider. The ADP1754/ADP1755 accept an external soft-start capacitor to program the startup sequence. These devices feature a power-good digital output pin, allowing a power system monitor to verify that the output voltage is within regulation. The ADP1754/ADP1755 are available in a compact 16-lead, 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP that provides excellent thermal performance, making them suitable for slim, small form factor applications requiring output currents up to 1.2 A.
