HTC LM1501BGT-ADJ

The LM1501BG series regulators are monolithic ICs that provide all active functions required for a step-down switching regulator, capable of driving 5A loads with excellent line and load regulation. The series offers fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, and 12V, as well as an adjustable output version. These regulators require minimal external components, are easy to use, and incorporate internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator. The LM1501BG series operates at a switching frequency of 300kHz, allowing the use of smaller filter components compared to lower-frequency switching regulators. Additional features include a guaranteed output voltage tolerance of ±4% and an oscillator frequency tolerance of ±15% under specified input voltage and output load conditions. The devices include an external shutdown function with a typical standby current of 80uA. Self-protection features include two-level frequency-reducing current limiting for the output switch and thermal shutdown, providing comprehensive protection under fault conditions.
