Descripción
KEMET U2J dielectric has a maximum operating temperature of 125°C and is considered stable. The Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) classifies U2J dielectric as a Class I material. These components offer temperature compensation characteristics, making them suitable for resonant circuit applications or applications requiring stable Q and capacitance characteristics. U2J is an extremely stable dielectric material with negligible capacitance variation versus voltage, a predictable linear capacitance-versus-temperature relationship, and no aging effects. Furthermore, U2J dielectric extends the available capacitance range of Class I MLCCs to values previously achievable only with Class II dielectric materials such as X7R, X5R, Y5V, and Z5U.
Compared to Class II dielectric materials, U2J is insensitive to DC bias and maintains more than 99% of nominal capacitance at rated voltage. KEMET automotive-grade capacitors meet the stringent AEC-Q200 qualification requirements of the Automotive Electronics Council.
Capacitance variation is limited to -750±120 ppm/°C over the temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. These devices are Pb-free, fully compliant with RoHS and REACH, and capable of withstanding multiple Pb-free reflow soldering cycles.
