Introduction
The SN74HCS365 contains six independent buffers with Schmitt-trigger inputs and 3-state outputs. All channels are placed into the high-impedance mode when either of the output enable OE(overline) pins are set to the high state. The SN74HCS365 hex buffers and line drivers are designed specifically to improve both the performance and density of 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. The SN74HCS365 devices contain six independent buffers/drivers with dual-gated output-enable (OE1 and OE2) inputs. When OE1 and OE2 are both low, each channel passes noninverted data from the A input to the Y output. If either (or both) output-enable terminal(s) is high, the outputs are in the high-impedance state.
Features
- Wide operating voltage range: 2 V to 6 V
- Schmitt-trigger inputs allow for slow or noisy input signals
- Low power consumption Typical ICC of 100 nA
- Typical input leakage current of ±100 nA
- ±7.8 mA output drive at 6 V
- Extended ambient temperature range: -40℃ to +125℃, TA
Applications
- Enable or Disable a Digital Signal
- Eliminate Slow or Noisy Input Signals
- Hold a Signal During Controller Reset
- Debounce a Switch
