Beschreibung
Microsemi's RT130KP275 and RT130KP295 bidirectional 130 kW TVS devices protect 120 VAC avionics from severe lightning effects, comply with RTCA/DO-160E Section 22 requirements, and are compatible with the 180 VAC 100 ms high-voltage line surge in Section 16 (Paragraph 16.5.2.3.1b). Microsemi also offers an extensive portfolio of additional TVS products to meet your requirements.
Merkmale
- Symmetrical bidirectional TVS structure
- Two operating standoff voltages: 275 V and 295 V
- Available with low clamping characteristics (suffix "CV") or normal clamping characteristics (suffix "CA")
- Transient suppression up to 130 kW (6.4/69 µs)
- Fast response, turn-on time less than 5 ns
- Optional 100% screening available by adding MA prefix to part number, including 100% temperature cycling (−55°C to +125°C, 10 cycles), surge testing in each direction (3 times), 24-hour high-temperature reverse bias in each direction, and post-test measurements (Vz and Ir)
- Optional JAN, JANTX, and JANTXV screening per MIL-PRF-19500 available by adding MQ, MX, or MV prefix to part number, respectively
- Moisture classification Level 1, no dry pack required per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020B
- RoHS-compliant devices available with "e3" suffix

- Pin injection protection per RTCA/DO-160E Table 22-2: Level 5 for Waveform 4 (6.4/69 µs) and Level 3 for Waveform 5A (40/120 µs) at 70°C
- Compatible with "abnormal surge voltage" as described in RTCA/DO-160E Section 16.5.2.3.1b
- Ultra-low clamping devices with "CV" suffix — low-clamp protection for 400V transistors, IGBTs, and MOSFETs in off-line switching power supplies
- Normal clamping devices with "CA" suffix — for less sensitive applications including RFI/EMI filters and general across-the-line protection
- Secondary lightning surge protection per IEC61000-4-5, Classes 1, 2, 3, and 4 with 12Ω source impedance
