Introduction
μClamp TVS diodes are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from damage or latch-up caused by EOS, lightning strikes, cable discharge events (CDE), and ESD. They feature large cross-section junctions capable of conducting high transient currents. These devices offer ideal characteristics for board-level protection, including fast response time, low operating voltage and clamping voltage, with no device performance degradation.
The μClampxx61P series is designed for harsh transient environments. It offers excellent protection characteristics, highlighted by high surge current capability, low peak ESD clamping voltage, and high ESD withstand voltage. The series provides multiple device options for protecting data or power lines operating at voltages from 5V to 60V.
The μClampx61P is housed in a 2-pin SLP1608P2 package measuring 1.6×0.8 mm with a nominal height of 0.50 mm. The leads feature lead-free NiPdAu plating. Its high surge current capability and low clamping voltage make it an ideal choice for protecting VBus, battery, and other power lines in consumer and industrial electronics.
